    Personal prayer is vital to the process of spiritual growth. There are many benefits to those who are committed to press in to the Lord through prayer. I am somewhat nervous about the fact that many believers are not committed to prayer. The Bible says that, “You have not because you ask not”.  Problem is, there are many needs in our lives that go unmet primarily because we didn’t ask the Father for His provision. God likes for us to ask. His Word says that He knows what we are going to ask for even before we ask, but He still wants to hear it from us. It grows our faith when we ask God for something and then, by His provision, it becomes a reality.
